The PJL introduces a modern, fan-focused model to jumping. Across major international venues, it combines elite athletic performance with innovative formats, enhanced transparency, and best-in-class free-to-view broadcasting – offering teams the biggest prize pot in the discipline’s history, securing the long-term financial security of the sport whilst enabling riders to dedicate themselves fully to their craft in a full-time capacity, maximising performance output.
Events will be staged at major venues across the globe, spanning Europe, North America, and the Middle East. The global schedule has been built with local temperatures in mind, ensuring the highest level of welfare for the riders and horses at every competition. The PJL will put fans at the heart of every experience and make the competitions a festival of live sporting action and high-end entertainment.
Each event is a 3-day weekend, a festival of immersive entertainment and sporting drama.
Each PJL event delivers high-stakes, merit-based competition, designed to heighten intensity, rivalry, and sporting jeopardy while showcasing elite jumping on iconic international stages.
$100 million in prize money is up for grabs during the PJL's inaugural season: March - October 2027. McCourt Global & their Executive Chairman, Frank McCourt, has guaranteed a prize pot of $300 million This prize money enables our elite riders to dedicate themselves to their craft in a full-time capacity, maximising their performance out. The PJL is committed to nurturing up-and-coming talent and providing an effective pathway to the PJL through development and academy leagues.
